Nashville Community Revitalization Town Hall Meeting
Rebuilding Together Nashville Announces New East Nashville Target Community 

NASHVILLE, TN -October 25, 2022- Rebuilding Together Nashville (RTNasvhille) will hold a Community Town Hall on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. This free and open event will be held at the Parkwood Community Center and Feature an open panel discussion with elected officials, community leaders, and service agencies in the East Nashville Area.

“We have received over 40 general interest calls from the new target community,” Nicole Rowan, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Nashville, “and we are ready to begin work in the Dickerson Pike Corridor to provide safe and healthy home repairs for seniors, veterans and those living with disabilities.”

The goal of the meeting will be to discuss safe and healthy home repairs for seniors, veterans, and those living with disabilities and inform individuals residing in districts 2, 3, and 5 of  RTNashville’s expanded services in their area. In addition, community members will be able to provide share about community needs and help inform the program rollout to the new community.

The panel will feature Rep. Harold Love, Rep. Vincent Dixie, Councilwoman Kyonzte Toombs, and other community leaders.

Community members and prospective clients can register for the event by visiting RTNashville.org/Parkwood. Registration is not required to attend the town hall. RTNashville will begin accepting interest forms for the East Nashville community on November 1, 2022. Meharry Medical College will also be onsite to provide COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots. You will also find resources to share about the event with potential service recipients.
